Rocket #1 - Arreaux w/Digital Pen-Cam

The Arreaux was the first rocket I built. I decided to go for an advanced-intermediate model. I wanted a rocket that could be flown without FAA notification, so it had to weigh less than one pound with a D engine, and yet wanted one that could fly the medium power E-G engines.

After much deliberation I decided upon the Aerotech Arreaux. It weighs 12.5 oz bare, takes D thru G engines, has a payload section, has some of the highest estimated flights of Aerotech models, and I think it looks neat :-). It's 1.9 inches wide by 43 inches high.

I spent quite a bit of time constructing the payload for this rocket, an AiptekPen-Cam digital camera that can record short (7 and 28 second) "movies". You can find out quite a bit about how I constructed this rocket by clicking on the link below:
