The Avocado Box

This was the first box I made recently. I more or less started my boxmaking hobby after receiving a Sears Craftsman 9" Bandsaw for Christmas (the only box I made before that was the one I made for a friend's birthday). I was havin' a fire one night, and I looked a piece of firewood, picked it up, and said "hmmm ...". I went out in the garage and came back in about 30 minutes later with this box.

I was gonna throw it in the fire with the rest of the log it came from (cuz I was just messing around with the saw) but decided not to, so I sanded it a little, and oiled it, and added it to the collection.
