PK's Birthday Box

Cedar with Padouk and Maple inlay

Just before February 2nd, I realized that Pat's birthday was coming up and wouldn't it be nice to make him a box? However I didn't have time to both make a whole box and to inlay it. So I chose to use one of the Cedar boxes I had made previously and to inlay it with his initials.

For his birthday, we went out to dinner at Anthony's where we had a great meal and I gave him the box. It's lined with black felt ... I figured he could use it to store guitar picks or small items of jewelry.
