Bocas Del Toro, Panama

I had not posted any new pages on this site for over two years, approximately the same time I started using facebook. Since then I have pretty much stopped posting here, and started uploading most of my photographs to facebook albums. After a conversation with my good friend Pat Kingsland, who had not seen any of my photographs for over two years, I realized that I needed to do something about it.

So I wrote a facebook app to "rip" the albums from facebook albums back to this phorton.com website. It was a fairly quick project and showed me a lot about how to interface to facebook ... it's largely done on my local machine, which was a trick in itself. I tried to be appropriate and publish the comments, but allow the commenters to remain anonymous.

Pretty much my whole life has been centered around Bocas Del Toro, Panama, since 2010, so that's the new topic! Everything under this page was added automagically by my script.
