Isreal Gets a Motor ...

I delegated my old 6hp Nissan 4 stroke to my worker Isrea, the "jefe" (boss man) at Punta Nisporo (my property) ...

... Nice gift. Bet he was thrilled?

It's not exactly a gift ... it's kind of like a company cayuco, mostly for the property, but also, realistically, extends to Isreal's personal use, as well as transportation for the other workers, their families, and the needs of the 2-3 households in Isreal's little local community that includes most of my and M's workers - about 35 people, 4-5 breadwinners, and lots of mouths to feed (and errands to run). This is the first motor they have. I'm sure he likes it, but it's also a big responsibility for him.

Isreal built this heavy duty motor mount on the back of his cayuco. It's a bit top heavy, but it works!

Workers headed home after a hard day's work. Much better than rowing 2 miles to work and back every day!

The little 6hp just sips gas as Isreal runs it at near idle ...
